Guest guest
Dear Governor Romney: Massachusetts needs a kindler and gentler society, and the State Legislature agrees. Late Thursday (yesterday) the Commonwealth's Supplemental Budget was approved and sent to your office included the Dissection Choice bill, which recently was passed by overwhelming bi-partisan support in BOTH House and Senate. Tragically and mistakenly, Governor Romney vetoed at the end of formal sessions. Again, students have another chance, thanks to the hard work and support of the Massachusetts legislature. Dissection Choice will not affect the Commonwealth’s biotech industry negatively. Every OTHER US state among the top 5 recipients of NIH research grants has Dissection Choice legislation! Why not Massachcusetts? If we're going to " make it in Massachusetts, " we too need dissection choice. Thankfully, Governor Romney recently signed a felony animal cruelty law; our State's dissection choice legislation is consistent with that wise and forward-looking legislation. Dissection Choice - an idea whose time has arrived; Dissection Choice - the right of every student in America, and surely in Massachusetts. Maynard S. Guest guest
This is such an important subject and I am glad there is Dissection Choice legislation. I am not familiar with the contents of the legislation. Does it cover students in middle school and high school? I am from WA state and how would I find out if it is applicable here? Thanks in advance. Sarah - " Maynard S.
