Y'know, I gave my son tofu from the time he was about 7 or 8 months old, and he loved it and did fine with it. But later I read you should wait because they may have a hard time digesting it. Theoretically, that could lead to an allergy. My son did end up with a slight soy sensitivity, which we later cleared up, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt for you to wait until your baby's system is a little more developed. Yes, Seattle is very veg-friendly, that's one of the reasons I love it! I look forward to a trip up to Vancouver some weekend.
