Guest guest Posted May 17, 2004 Report Share Posted May 17, 2004 I need to pick some brains here. Does anyone have a great substitution idea for ham bone or bacon etc in a recipe? I realize you can leave it out and in most cases I do and it works out fine but I have this formerly wonderful bean recipe that is now highly blah without it. ANy idea?
