Laura,

All the above should be available at a health food store - Borax maybe not,

but at our mainstream grocery you can get Borax (20-mule or whatever the

brand).

All are safe, and if the store is reputable, their oils should be 100% pure.

Castille soap is made by several companies, but the most common one is Dr.

Bronner's. There's also Kirk's, and I think Desert Essence makes some.

I use Dr. B's Sal Suds for all me household cleaning (mopping, counters,

etc) unless I need to scrub. I have an earth-friendly cleanser but I used

to use baking soda and dampen the sponge with vinegar. I used to use Borax

for fleas and other insects, but it's only somewhat effective.
