Guest guest
Hi all. I'm new to posting, but I could sure use some insight. We were invited to join friends for a Passover dinner. Unlike a typical dinner invitation, I don't feel like we can really offer to bring food, or offer to host and do a veg*n meal here. This seems like a situation where the menu is pretty set. Does anybody know more about this than I do? We'd like to work it out, but I just don't know enough about it to know how--or if--it would work. Thank you for any ideas. Cindy, I have done many vegan Seders. The menu depends on the host. There are some traditional dishes that really don't vary. It's totally appropriate to ask to bring some dishes. There are some great recipies for vegan mock chicken liver. The vrg site might have links to help you there. Traditionally lamb is served, but there can be plenty of veggie dishes as well. I know many non veg. seders that are pot luck. I'd call the host as ask. Good luck, Peace, Laura
