Guest guest
simply natural baby food by cathe olson is a good toddler book, we have made a few of the recipes for the whole family. it isn't always vegetarian/vegan but it does provide vegetarian/vegan alternatives for almost every recipe. organic baby & toddler cookbook by lizzie vann is the same way, it divides into age categories and doesn't always have a substitute (but sometimes it is easy to figure one out). it has a good snack section. but i will admit i don't use it too much anymore. we have been quite lucky that my daughter will now eat almost all of what we will. tara We are only a family of three, but my daughter is still only 20 months. There are a lot of things she doesn't like, so I usually get her something she will like. I have found that the hardest thing with this type cooking, is finding things she will eat. I haven't found a good cookbook for kids her age. She does like fruit and veggies raw though, like carrots, and other things. As for my husband and I we like just about everything. Burgers, stirfries, soups, stews, salads, etc. Thanks, Melanie
Guest guest
Tara, Thanks. My mom would say, I am getting my reward with my daughter. LOL! I was always a very picky eater, so I guess my mom is getting her revenge with my daughter, she is pretty picky.
