weaning off cowmilk

Shirley, you can try mixing the cow's and soymilk, gradually increasing the

ratio of soy until your son is accustomed to the taste. Also, try different

soymilks, as they all taste surprisingly different. Most people like Silk,

and he'd probably like their chocolate.

If he's generally only drinking it on cereal, try giving him other things

for breakfast so that he doesn't really get cow milk anymore. If he's not

really exposed to it, he may lose the taste of it and be more open to

soymilk. I myself am not crazy about soymilk - I loooove vanilla Rice

Dream, though, so you could give him that on cereal and he might prefer it.

It's not at all nutritional but if it's only a cup or so, it's not that big

a deal when he's otherwise eating a healthy diet.

dd = dear daughter

ds = dear son

And, when replying to posts and especially posts within a digest, please

snip off unnecessary text - very hard to scroll through a digest when it

contains whole other digests! :)
