(snip) Welcome to gov't subsidy. Yep, the WIC program allows for soy formula but not soy milk. Soymilk is assumed to be a choice, and when you're on government assistance, as you've already found, " choice " is considered a luxury. You could try writing a protest letter, but you'd be doing it just for the sake of doing it, since that won't change the program (I happen to know). If you can get a doctor's note saying you're allergic to dairy, they'll let you have soymilk. it has to be a medical concern. Take it for what you can, veggies and juice....
