hi all,

i've been having computer problems so i have not been able to thank you folks

sooner for the suggestions comments and advice. if i had more free time i would

start

a large scale protest action on this issue but i am focusing on improving my

personal economic situation and can not do so. thanks again!

Welcome to gov't subsidy. Yep, the WIC program allows for soy formula but

not soy milk. Soymilk is assumed to be a choice, and when you're on

government assistance, as you've already found, " choice " is considered a

luxury. You could try writing a protest letter, but you'd be doing it just

for the sake of doing it, since that won't change the program (I happen to

know).

 

If you can get a doctor's note saying you're allergic to dairy, they'll let

you have soymilk. it has to be a medical concern.

 

Take it for what you can, veggies and juice.... Apply for foodstamps

(separate program).
