Guest guest
Angela: In my humble opinion, you were not wrong. I would expect that there are rules at your mohter's house that people are expected to follow. I think the analagy of a smoker lighting up in a non-smoker house was a good one. If your children and your husband and you feel like ham in the house if offensive.. then your family should honor your household and put family and the spirit of the holidays ahead of what they out on the table to eat. I think that we vegetarians are ridiculed for not following the norm of society and supporting animal cruelity and animal consumtion. I am sorry that your family is so upset. Did you tell them the smoker analagy? It really is the same issue ... let us know how it goes. Maybe they can be better people and choose family over ham. laurie laurie Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now
