Guest guest Posted November 19, 2003 Report Share Posted November 19, 2003 Hi my name is Susan and I am new to the list. I am a 39 year old Australian Living in Arizona in the USA. I am married with a 2 year old daughter. I am a vegan, my daughter is a vegetarian and my husband eats meat, so it is very complicated around here come dinner time. LOL. I have been a vegetarian since I was 16 years old and a vegan for a number of years. I have lived in the USA for 3 years and while in Australia I was very involved in the Animal Rights Movement and was a director of Animal Liberation, a large group in Australia, which some of you may of heard of. I have kind of taken a break from active animal rights stuff since I had my daughter, as I seem to never get enough time to do all of the stuff I am supposed to get done, but I am hoping to get organized soon. I am looking forward to hearing how other parents cope with raising a veggie child in a meat eating society. Oh, and we watch the television LOL, and not only PBS because The Wiggles are on Disney and my daughter and I love The Wiggles because then we get to hear Aussie accents everyday!
