Guest guest
Hi Mandy, I also live in Centreville, and I take my 19 mo son to the Fairfax Pediatrics Association 703 391-0900. They are NOT veggie friendly, but I'm a dietetic technician, so I have no problems talking to them about my son's veg diet. If you find a veg friendly doctor in the area, please let me know. They want us to go there all the time for weigh-ins, and I don't mind doing that. My son is on the 25 percentile for weight and in the 90 for height. He has never been sick and is still nursing. Welcome to the neighborhood. :-) Anna Macknight
Guest guest
Anna, Thank you, and everyone else who responded to my message! However, my husband decided yesterday to change his mind about taking the promotion, so we'll be staying in Maryland. We're now in a sticky situation of figuring out were to live, as we've already sold our house, but this will be much better for our family life. With his new position, he would have been on call 24/7, and almost never home! I'm much happier with the idea of having my family together, than some extra money! Good luck with your pediatrician, Anna! That's great that your son is so healthy! Hailey is only going on four months, but is also very healthy, and not at all a small baby. I don't see how anyone can say that being vegan isn't good for breastfeeding She's growing like a weed! Thanks again, Mandy
