Guest guest
I bought some of this soy milk before I had heard anything about it, in a rush through the store, and i am glad that i did, because now i have an experiential opinion, which is helpful when the subject gets heated. I wouldn't buy it again just because it tastes like a melted fast food vanilla milkshake, complete with all the bleached sugars and fakey chemical flavorings, but also because I don't patronize non organic and/ or shady corporations that are far from ecologically sound anyway. Even though it is not something i will ever be a consumer of, i am glad to finally see the fast food veg options, mostly because as a teen veg i just ate the fries (ugh) .The one good thing this does is bring vegetarian and veganism into the minds of people who would maybe never consider the lifestyle we call concious and correct as an option. It will also ease the transition for new veggies who probably aren't reading labels yet anyway. Think back, before you knew everything you know about health and life and labels and respect for our fellow earthings, your body and your planet, wouldn't you have loved a Mc veggie on your lunch hour? Even though it is a lame attempt, and really not positive because it is just marketing techniques instead of real progress, all that aside, the mainstream at least hears the demand for organic and vegetarian food. Of course, it's corporate response is some toxic avenger ultra processed super marketed monstrosity....honestly, what could we reasonably expect at this stage in the progression of the world waking up to the harm and waste of the last century? The point is, don't buy the silly " organic " tostitos, we all know that the land it is grown in is still polluted from the last ten years of pesticide, the corn is still " modified " , not to mention the processing and preservatives.... BUT, it is a step... a sideways ill guided mutated step... but a step nonetheless. ( by the way, which continent would the 8th be, McDisNike?
