In a nutshell meats are now being irradiated to kill all the gross

stuff in them. Of course most of the gross stuff like e-coli are

there because of factory farming. A member of this group

recommended the book Food Revolution by John Robbins to me and now

I'm recommending it to you. This was one of the most compelling

books I'd ever read. It gives you the low down on factory farming,

over-fishing and genetically modified organisms. So, instead of

irradiating meats a " revolution " needs to take place in the way we

eat.

minds, except lead by example. Someday they may realize that we are

healthier and feel better than they do, and that it just may be

attributed to what we eat. If not, then it is their loss. Anger

never produces positive results, so I let go of it all. I realized

that they must not be very comfortable in their own skin, and that

is very sad. Thanks everyone.

irradiated foods? What are they, and are they bad? The local food

co-op was giving out postcards you could send in to help get rid of

irradiated foods.
