I have high blood pressure. I make a dish almost like the one Isis

makes with my TVP chunks with no poblem. I add spice and a jalapeno

or two, everyone in the family enjoys it. Unflavored TVP has

relatively very little sodium. I use low sodium canned tomatoes and

use no salt in the rice. If I ever eat sauerkraut I make sure I rinse

it first which cuts down on the flavor but I can't handle all the

sodium in it.

Sissy, have you tried making your own sauerkraut?

I do and use no salt at all. Actually, I think

what I make is more a kimchi, as I cannot resist

adding lots of garlic and hots to the fermenting

mix. ;)
