Guest guest Posted January 24, 2006 Report Share Posted January 24, 2006 I have never found anything I want to make with the TVP chunks, since any directions require adding tons of salt. It has never been a problem to grind the chunks into smaller burger sized pieces in a food processor. Tonight I made a favorite easy non-recipe - vegan kielbasa: Dump one jar/pkg of sauerkraut in a soup pot. Add 1 pkg of Tofurkey kielbasa, cut into slices. Add 4 - 6 potatoes, skin left on, cut into chunks. Add water if needed to cover. Heat until the potatoes are cooked. It's not exactly health food since it has a lot of fat and salt, but it is tasty.
