Guest guest
Okay, so I did use the " bread machine " yeast, but just used my kitchen aid mixer as I wanted to use my sister's recipe and it would have been too much for the machine. The yeast worked fine, I think it's just a gimmick. I had bought 50/50 wheat/white flour so they have a nice texture to them. Made everything up last night and then baked them this morning. Oh, the house sure smelled good! Our oven runs hot and so they may have overcooked just a tad, but they were good when they were still warm. Although it's been ages since I've made a yeast bread product I feel I did pretty good. Now I'm in the mood to make pizza. And maybe I'll actually try making loaves of bread.
