I made this for Saturday. Served it inside a bolillo (Mexican) roll. Made

sandwich of Smart mock pastrami slices and this on top of the sandwich.

Sauerkraut Relish

1 (27 oz) can sauerkraut (drain just a little bit of juice off)

1/3 cup sugar

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/2 tsp. celery seed

1/2 tsp. mustard seed

1 tblspn. vinegar

1 1/2 tablespoons sliced pimento

Combine all imgredients in a medium saucepan and simmer

for 20 minutes. Cool and serve on the side or on top of a sandwich.

Donna,

I can't wait to try this today on a soy hot dog sand. I don't eat

them often because of the salt but really like them.

Now this is an interesting new idea.

Thanks

Deanna
