Spinach Dressing

I saw this recipe on the cooking channel. It is very easy to make.

All you need is a blender.

 

Ingredients:

1 pound spinach (washed and cleaned)

spices (your choice)

water

vinegar - 1/2 tsp. I prefer balsamic

oil 1/2 tsp or to taste(canola, peanut etc-your preference) OPTIONAL

 

In blender blend spinach water and a few drops of oil until the

consistancy of " salad dressing " . (Add spinach a few leave at a time

or your blender gets cranky) You can omit the oil but I find

that a few drops makes the dressing smoother. Once creamy, add

vinegar and blend again.

 

Add your favorite spices - I use garlic powder and onion powder

For an added kick you can also add one or two drops of hot sauce.

Not too much or it will know your socks off. Blend well.

 

This keeps in the refridgerator for a week or two in a tightly

closed container. You can freeze unused portions for later use.

 

Another trick is to divide the unseasoned dressing into 3 or 4

portions and add different spices to each.
