Guest guest Posted January 22, 2006 Report Share Posted January 22, 2006 Tomatillo and Tomato Relish 1 tsp butter or margarine 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tbl shallot -- chopped 3 tomatillos -- diced 2 lg tomatoes, peeled, seed, juice removed and chopped 1 tsp cognac or brandy 1 tbl tarragon, fresh Salt & pepper to taste Saute garlic & shallots in butter until transparent. Add tomatillos & tomatoes, saute 5 minutes. Add cognac, tarragon, salt & pepper. Simmer 8 minutes. Serve over tofu steaks, Veat , Quorn sliced roast, top the insides of your sandwich, over steamed rice, or you come up with another creative way to use it. Autos. Looking for a sweet ride?
