Guest guest
1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1-1/2 cups granola 1/4 packed brown sugar 1/2 tsp baking soda 3/4 cup margarine 1 cup strawberry preserves optional Stir together flour, granola, brown sugar and baking soda. Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly (you can melt 1/2 the margarine) Pat into an un-greased 13 X 9 X 2 baking pan. You can place 2/3 in the bottom of pan and then spread the preserves over granola. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 20-25 minutes, cool on wire rack. cut into bars. You can also use chocolate chips in you are not using preserves. This time we added a handful of flax seeds. gayle
