Just bought two brand new cook books at my favorite thrift store the

ARC and paid less than $3 for the *Vegetable* (williams-Sonoma)

fantasticaly illustrated book with some different ideas. Pureed Celery

Root With Truffle Oil..Never seen Truffle Oil and have never pureed

Celery Root but I will . The second book is equally wonderful at less

than $2(remember both of these books were donated by the book store so

they would cost so much more on the book store shelf). This treasure of

a cook book is *The Steamer Cookbook* by coleen and Bob Simmons..I

haven't had a chance to try the recipes as yet ..Just got the books

yesterday but There are some wonderful new ideas.

Sending smiles and hugs to you all.

Deanna

PS the cook book pile on the floor next to my computer is almost high

enough to be used as a table..LOL

What a bargain! I suspect that the truffle oil will cost considerably

more than the cook book, LOL. I bought celeriac today so perhaps I

should go a-hunting some truffle oil tomorrow morning - I'm sure I saw

some at the local deli.
