dinner tonight - sick and Echinacea

I've heard recently that more reports are coming out that echinacea is

not the power house once thought to be. Also, it's not something that

should be taken on a regular basis. I know what you mean about

sickness going straight to the chest. My sister's entire family as

asthmatic/brochitic and if any of them get a cold it turns into

bronchitis! Oh, I'm so glad I didn't get that gene.

 

I would suggest that you start taking the Emergen-C on a daily basis.

Vitamin C has been proven to help build the immune system. There are a

lot of icky things going around this year, James has come home sick

three times so far this winter and this last one is creating a lot of

congestion that he's having trouble getting rid of.

 

If you like garlic, there've been some great soups posted (recently

and in our files), perhaps that will get your energy back up and running.

 

Take care of yourself and don't get run down!
