Guest guest Posted January 15, 2006 Report Share Posted January 15, 2006 I used wheat pastry flour and apple juice one time and orange juice the next. The grape juice will work, it replaces a high sugar content as most sweet breads call for quite a but more sugar. If you don't have zest it won't matter. If you leave the figs whole they make a paisley design in the bread slice. Very cool to look at . I think I posted this recipe last month on the feral. Not sure. If not put it in the recipe file. It really is good. Now remember the fig seeds will crunch as you eat them. To me that's the best part. Enjoy!
