Guest guest
I love this dressing. Like the name I gave it, you know how I am with naming my recipes........ Donna Mama-San Japanese Salad Dressing 1/2 onion, minced 1/2 cup canola, peanut or extra virgin olive oil 1/3 rice vinegar 2 tblpsns. water 2 tblspns. ginger root, grated 1 celery stalk, minced 2 tblspns. ketchup 4 tsps. lite soy sauce 2 tsps. sugar 2 tsps. fresh squeezed lemon juice 1 or 2 cloves of garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper (Optional) I toss in some toasted sesame seeds or a few drops of sesame oil, either adds a good roasted flavor Toss all ingredients into the blender for about 1/2 minute so everything is well blended and pureed. Refrigerate for a few hours so flavors blend. *Note: You can toss with your favorite salad greens, spoon some over steamed rice or toss with pasta also, even use as a dip for egg rolls or wontons.
