Guest guest
I started to see that a lot out here in Calif. It's on my windchime thingy and it's on the car wax containers. It's on the lamp cord now that you mention it. I haven't paid attention if it's on any of the appliances unless this is a new law and they have to label them now. I wouldn't have tossed the blender myself but that's me being me. Let me read the thing and tell you what it says...it's unbelievable really!! " WARNING: The power cord on this product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. *Wash hands after handling. " * The blender was made by FARBERWARE. What gets me is that I 'handled' this blender cord a LOT for about a month when we lived in Florida and I was experimenting with making nut butters in the blender. :>( And I never noticed the little tiny label on the cord!!! But can you imagine having such a thing??? why did they ever let the blender (and probably thousands like it) out onto the public? Well...to ask is to answer, isn't it, just about. <sigh> Bron " If you can just get your mind together then come across to me We'll hold hands an' then we'll watch the sun rise from the bottom of the sea But first..........
