Guest guest
--- Donna, have honestly never tasted " regular " beer. I hate the smell : ). this stuff is really dark, I'm guessing more like an ale? it's about the color of Guinness which is hubby's favorite. the flavor is deep-- kind of like flavor upon flavor in layers. it was wonderful in gingerbread but now I have 12 extra bottles and hubby is not due home for awhile : ). I might have to try it in my drunken beans recipe which calls for Guinness or possibly a dark pumpernickel bread recipe. take care : )............... Guest guest
Or you could sip on some one evening. That beer is too good to just use in cooking! LOL If it's dark like a Guinness without the " heaviness " it could be a Porter. I love Porters because they are not as heavy as Stouts but still have the darkness and richness.
