Guest guest
zMine goes right in the freezer. I'm not sure but the shelf life isn't long until frozen or refrigerated. Maybe another member will know for sure but I believe yours is probably too old now. (or refrigeration) Some one gave me a 5 lb bag of flaxseed and I just shoved it in the corner of my kitchen in it's bag/box. I had no idea what to do with it, and since it was tucked out of the way, I had forgotten it until this subject came up. > > Is it still good? Guest guest
-I store mine in the frig.(recycled glass bottle) but the seed is on the shelf at the health food store and not refrigerated . There are no instructions on the pkg. about storage. Mine is organic bulk. The oil must be refrigerated per instructions on the bottle . Best to keep it in cool storage if you are not sure.
