BLENDER cord???

what??really??

why would that be true? is it just any electrical item??? or

something somehow related to the blender?? how very odd! =)

Dh made a scan of it after he got the blender out of the trash. :>) Says

maybe we'll get some reimbursement on this...and if not, we need to alert

the company that made the blender *anyway*, reimbursement or no.

 

Let me read the thing and tell you what it says...it's unbelievable really!!

 

" WARNING: The power cord on this product contains lead, a chemical known to

the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other

reproductive harm. *Wash hands after handling. " *

 

The blender was made by FARBERWARE.

 

What gets me is that I 'handled' this blender cord a LOT for about a month

when we lived in Florida and I was experimenting with making nut butters in

the blender. :>( And I never noticed the little tiny label on the cord!!!

But can you imagine having such a thing??? why did they ever let the blender

(and probably thousands like it) out onto the public?

 

Well...to ask is to answer, isn't it, just about. <sigh>
