Guest guest Posted January 9, 2006 Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 Wanted to bestow a good turnip greens recipe upon the group. This is good served as a side dish or on top of rice. I served it with Mexican food yesterday. Turnip Greens with a Kick 1 lb. bunch of turnip greens, wash, drain and chop 1 1/2 tsps. olive oil 2 or 3 garlic cloves minced 1/2 small onion chopped 1 cup vegetable broth 1/4 cup rice vinegar or wine vienegar 2 tsps. chili paste (plain or with garlic) 1/2 tsp. black pepper Heat oil in stockpot over medium high heat. Add garlic and onion, and saute for 2 minutes. Add greens and saute until wilted, about 5 minutes. Add rermaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
