Guest guest
Mike that would be like the candles burning day and night at the Catholic Church? I know it's an overwhelming blast of heat when you open the church side door and people are in there adding new candles to burn constantly. Donna cd trader <realshows wrote: you can buy sheets of beeswaz and wicks and make your own safe candles However I use candlelight for dinner everynight, and when I heard about the dangers with parafins, I decided to swith. I work at a radio station, and was talking to our staff scientist about it, and he told me this you get just as much polution from natural candles, different tyoes -but it's still smoke. It makes no difference, the big news is: There is no danger for those of us burning a few in our homes, the major problem is in churches where you have 100 candles burning at a time -if you're just burning a few candles then you have nothing to worry about. It's just overhyped from the internet and some media mike my trade lists http://www.geocities.com/realshows my launch radio station http://launch./lc/?rt=0 & rp1=0 & rp2=1281193352 ________ DSL – Something to write home about. Guest guest
Well, personally, I *do* notice a difference between my soy candle and my previous Yankee Candles as far as smoke goes. The latter creates much more smoke than the former. Interesting notes about candles in church though; my church does not use candles period so I wouldn't have ever even thought about this possibility. :>) Bron On 1/7/06, purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote: > > Mike that would be like the candles burning day and night at the Catholic > Church? > I know it's an overwhelming blast of heat when you open the church side > door and people are in there adding new candles to burn constantly. > Donna > > > cd trader <realshows wrote: > you can buy sheets of beeswaz and wicks and make your > own safe candles > > However > > I use candlelight for dinner everynight, and when I > heard about the dangers with parafins, I decided to > swith.
