Guest guest
Go to the recipe files and enter the folder called " Substitutes for meat and dairy " then enter the soy folder, there is a folder set up for tempeh recipes. Tempeh is soy based. It's in the tofu area of the health food store. It's semi-thin packet about 3 inches wide and 8 inches long. This is a guess on the measurements. Tempeh has a chewy texture and takes on flavors from spices, sauces, etc. I didn't care for tempeh until I joined the group and experimented with the recipes. I had no prior idea of how to prepare it. Now I eat it often. Hope this helped a little. Isis , Kim Seven <kim7seven> wrote: > > What is tempeh and does it have wheat in it? I would love to try this recipe if I can eat and/or find this stuff :-) Kimberly
