Ah, I have toyed with detox's. Tried one where you start out the day

with prune juice, and then only drink apple juice/whatever, I forget

what the allowed juices were. It was too much for me. There are many

types out there. You just have to find what appeals to you. After

Christmas I did a detox. Found a Chinese herbal detox that seemed to

suit me. Couple bags of herbs. You make 3 types of the tea. The

only discomfort was the first night for about an hour, mainly because

of the senna, makes things move along quickly! Then you are drinking

the teas for a week. I made a mineral broth, and immune broth,

sometimes adding a little fish, and I got along pretty well. Felt

Wonderful! Still feel good, and still going thru detox. I find

several things different, in strange ways you would not expect. I

find it easier to relate to people. Clearer. That's the word. I've

made a detox pesto that is fantastic. 2 teaspoons a day, and sure

want to eat it all! Great stuff.

All that said, it's a personal decision, but it's worth it. Find one

that works for you. Some are pretty heavy duty, and I'm just not up

to that right now. I figure that even if I am eating pretty good now,

I haven't always been that way. There's stuff sitting in your

intestines for Years. Glad to be getting rid of it.

Oh, I did take echinachea and something called total tonic, or fire

tonic, which should help the healing.

Heh. That's about it.
