Guest guest
Hi Lex, My typical day starts out with 12 grain toast with peanut butter and banana on top, on weekends I make oatmeal or I might have an egg on toast. For a mid-morning snack I usually eat a few pretzels with an orange or some raw nuts or a handful of grapes. At lunch I might have soup or something I've made in the crockpot, like veggie chili or a lentil stew and I might have a roll or small salad I've packed from home to go with it. I make sandwiches also with a sliced tofu dog or a spread from the group recipe file. Dinner could be many different foods on one plate. Maybe 1/3 of a baked yam with some type green vegetable and I enjoy the Gardenburger riblets, I might make a loaf and have thick slices in the freezer and pull a slice out to go with dinner. I enjoy making casseroles and eating a few nights from them. I make beans and grains on Sunday and I integrate those with my dinner menu during the week. Hoping this is of some help to you and your daughhter. Sue
