Guest guest
Melissa have you tried the tofuna recipe in the files? I make mock tuna all the time. I freeze a tub of tofu and thaw and it picks up the chewy texture that way. I mash it up and add vegan mayo, onions, celery, dash of kelp powder (for the sea taste) and it makes a delicious sandwich. I just bought a can, thinking that a Tuno sandwich would be a good thing to take for lunch. Maybe not. Anyone like it here? melissa p
Guest guest
Donna, I froze a package of tofu for another recipe, but your recipe for mock tuna intrigues me. But where can I find kelp powder? Does anybody know who lives in the South and who doesn't have a Whole Foods nearby, perchance?
