On sort of the same note, As I was cleaning my bathroom this morning, I was wondering if anyone else here cleans with vinnegar - biodegradable, works the best and is the cheapest! The only thing I don't use it for is mopping the floor, so my place doesn't smell like french fries... Yup, vinegar and baking soda!! I even have one of those pump-to-pressurize " oil sprayers " filled with white vinegar - makes it really easy to do windows, and I often will spray my counters with a light coat at night. The smell disappears very quickly. For mopping the floor I usually just use my dish soap - I actually use a sponge and do the floor that way. Tough cleaning jobs require adding baking soda and sometimes I have to disenfect with rubbing alcohol.
