Guest guest
Happy New Year Patricia, I do remember my Gran had wax on top of her jams. Apricot brandy..LOL Now I'll bet everyone wanted a refill of that one. The microwave I use (not daily) to reheat or now and then I toss a baked potato in it. I use my steamer, stove and oven daily. I roast veggies in a clay pot a few times a week. I don't use plastic or colored paper towels in the microwave. I hear so many pros and cons on the microwave that I don't fear the amout of time my food is spent in one. I worry more about the gas fumes as I sit in rush hour traffic on the 405 freeway. That really terrifies me and there is no way to avoid it. I will check on the cancer cured group. I want to pass their information to a few women at work. I work with 5 breast cancer survivors. 4 have now passed the 5 year mark. Hoping this 2006 is a good year for all of us. It's only 6:15pm and I'm already tired out. I've been filing the groups recipes, a huge amount of wonderful ones poured in this week. Smiles, Donna for Good - Make a difference this year.
