favorite kitchen items Denise

Hmmm, ya know what??? I made hummus for our party (day after

christmas) and forgot I could even try a new gadget. Instead I just

automatically pulled out the food processor! LOL

 

I'm thinking of making a creamy potatoe soup and then throw in some

veggies.

 

I've noticed some of you listed the hand blender as a favorite item,

what do you use yours for? Has it completely replaced the food

processor and blender?

I use mine for grinding seeds/nuts, pureeing veggies into soup in the pan,

turning frozen fruit + soft tofu into 'not' ice cream, frozen fruit and water

into slushies.....blending small amounts mostly. hasn't replaced the processor

and blender , just the lumpy soups and sauces I used to eat cause was too lazy

to get out the blender for small amounts! ( cooking for one) LOL
