I would love to spend the day with someone trying this. I would never attempt

it on my own. I wouldn't want to give my items to friends and they end up

floating around in the universe............(:- O

process that you have to be careful with. The USDA has now come out

and said the safest way to can is to use a pressure canner for

everything. You can sterilize your jars either in a boiling water bath

or in the dishwasher.

 

The best thing to do, if you want to can, is to find someone who does

it and get together with them for a day of canning. It's a fun way to

spend the day.
