lol, i just open cans of black eyed peas (watch

out...some have meat in them) and heat them up! i

really like them with their juices over

cornbread...sprinkled with a little bit of cheddar.

the greens make a good side for this.

 

another way i like to eat black eyed peas is a dish my

dad made up and he called tor-pea-does...they are

wonderful and easy. heat up cooked black eyed peas,

add a strained spoonful to a warmed corn tortilla, top

with cheese and salsa and sour cream if you like. i

like to also add pickled jalapenos to mine. i eat

about 4 of these and they are perfect for lunch (and

quick easy dinner).
