Susie I think this would be good in flautas or taquitos also.

1 T. chili powder

2 tsp. ground cumin

1 15 ounce can black beans, drained, rinsed and

coarsely chopped (1 1/2 cups)

1/3 cup pitted green olives, coarsely chopped

salt and pepper to taste

 

in a small dry skillet, toast chili powder and cumin

over low heat, stirring constantly until fragrant,

about 1 minute. transfer to a mixing bowl. add black

beans and olives; mix thoroughly. season with salt

and pepper.

 

fills about 16 tamales.
