Guest guest Posted December 28, 2005 Report Share Posted December 28, 2005 --- Paul, with hubby gone for awhile loaf pans are good for " non-loaf " things too : ). we use ours right now to make smaller quantities of casseroles, beans, etc. we actually rarely use them for bread right now as it makes too much. the lentil loaf in files section is superb and hopefully leftovers freeze OK : ). most 4-serving casseroles I make I divide in half and cook in loaf pans. they are usually fairly generous in serving size and half a recipe makes 2 good-size servings for adults or 1 good-size serving and few smaller servings for kids. just some more ideas for your loaf pan : ). take care : ).....
