Mediterranean Hummus 1 1/2 cups garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained 1/4 cup tahini 3 garlic cloves, chopped 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 4 tablespoons olive oil 3/4 cup kalamata olives (black will work) 2 tablespoons capers 1 small red pepper finely chopped 1 teaspoon cumin *** 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley for garnish*** Combine all ingredients in a food processor. My blender works on this recipe as well. Add just enough cold water to achieve a spreadable consistency. Spoon puree into a bowl and smooth top with the back of a spoon. Drizzle a thin circle of olive oil on top, garnish with parsley spring. Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Add photos, events, holidays, whatever.
