Guest guest
Hi Mike, I know this one in my head Spinach Dip Ranch Style 1 cup mayo (vegan or regular) 1 cup sour cream 1 envelope ranch dressing mix 1 (10 oz) box chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed Mix all ingredients and chill. Option - add chopped walnuts or waterchestnuts for some crunch. Serve with crackers or pita chips. Is this simple enough? Guest guest
I make the same recipe but I use 1 1/ 2 cup s.cream and 1/2 cum mayo. less salty! I also use 4 green onions and omit the chesnuts. I have added bacon when I was not vegetarian and it is GOOD! I now use soy bacon bits. All of the dip styles are delish! Guest guest
A variation of the recipe Donna sent (vegetarian, not vegan): (Classic) Spinach Dip 1 cup mayo (vegan or regular) 1 cup sour cream 1 envelope Knorr's* vegetable soup mix 1 (10 oz) box chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed Mix all ingredients and chill. Option - add water chestnuts for some crunch. Serve in a sourdough bread bowl or with crusty bread. *I suppose any packaged dry vegetable soup mix would work from Maida Citizens for Pets in Condos, http://www.petsincondos.org South Florida Vegetarian Events, http://www.soflavegevents.net
