Guest guest
Hi, in my original directions for stuffed peppers, I said to dip them in boling water...I tried the recipe leaving out that step, and they turned out fine, peppers stayed a bit crisper, rather than soft by just baking them in oven with stuffing. have fun with your dinner! melissa , " christie_0131 " <christie0131@g...> wrote: > > Thank you all for your suggestions - sorry I've been AWOL today but I > got a bit sidetracked by one of my cats having injured her paw. Guest guest
Thanks Melissa It is many years since I cooked stuffed peppers. What did you serve them with? Guest guest
hi, Christie, Often, I serve them over a little more of the " stuffing " dressed up a bit! usually the brown rice, with sauted carrots, mushrooms and onions. or you could always serve a salad and bread. My husband likes them when I use taco spice to season the stuffing, cover with tomato sauce and then serve them with a beans and rice type side dish. I think it just depends on what you are putting in the stuffing and the spices you use. melissa , " christie_0131 " <christie0131@g...> wrote: > > Thanks Melissa > It is many years since I cooked stuffed peppers.
