I have no plans for Hogmanay as yet. I always used to be out and about

at Hogmanay but since they instituted the street party it is very

difficult to get from one side of the city to the other, partly

because the streets are filled with many thousands of drunken

revellers but also because you need a special pass to get within a

mile of the city centre and I live just outwith that zone. If the

truth be told, I've become old and boring in recent years. I may climb

up by Arthur's Seat, which is an extinct volcano near my home, to

watch the fireworks at midnight. How about yourself?
