Guest guest
Walnut and Melon Scramble. will serve 4 to 6 Ingredients 2 small honeydew Melons (Halved and seeded then cubed) 1, 1/2 cups (360 ml/ 1, 1/8 pot of Scottish honey or Yorkshire Honey but you could use Maple syrup. 3 cups ( 150 g / 6oz) of chopped walnuts a small dram of rare Island of Islay 10 year old malt... now the very easy bit... place the melon cubes, with any juice, into a large bowl add the honey fold to coat the fruit stir in the walnuts then add the whisky or better still drink it (its far to good to waste) your guests will love the softness of the fruit and crunch of the walnuts, the whisky brings that deep warmth that lingers in our Christmas memories. Merry Christmas Cristie. ray
