Guest guest
You can use dried cherries, dried cranberries or the flavored raisins in this recipe. " Cherry Cashew Cookies " 1 cup butter or margarine 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 large eggs 2 1/4 cups flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 package white chocolate chips (10 oz) 1 cup broken, salted cashews 1 1/2 cups dried cherries Preheat oven to 375 In a large mixing bowl combine butter, both sugars, vanilla and eggs. Mix with electric mixer on medium speed until thoroughly combined. Combine flour and baking soda, mix well, add to batter. Stir in chips, cashews and cherries. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 11 to 15 minutes or until a light golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
