Guest guest
PT I'm a speed queen in the kitchen and in life in general. I just peel it really fast and tossed in the pot. I didn't notice until I patiently waited for my soup to finish and tasted it. OMG! Isn't that funny how I like the heat of horseradish, Chinese hot mustard and wasabi but no chili peppers. Sissy doesn't care for that type heat. She loves hot peppers. I know better than to taste a spoonful of her homemade back beans when I visit. We don't have the same tastes at all. Even in desserts. Rarely do we agree on the same recipe. I beat it to her house ahead of time so I can pull my guacamole aside or I make it and she can add heat after I pull some out for myself and Mo. I made that mistake once and the soup was so hot I couldn't eat it. LOL " ~ That is too funny, Donna. Hope you sent it over to Sissy's house; she'd probably have loved that hot horseradishy soup! *lol* ~ i am surprised you didn't notice it was horseradish when you were peeling that root! i know horseradish grinding day at my dh's parent's house was a day for lots of kleenex tissues. ~ pt ~ Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one. ~ Jane Howard
