Maida, I am in Royal Oak frequently since one of my best friends lives there!

Small world.

 

I had no idea there were vegetarian groups, with meetings and events. LOL --

since almost every thing in the world has a group for it! Guess I need to start

searching the web to find a group here in Windsor.

 

I have signed up for the Veggies in Motion newsletter. Thanks so much for the

Colleen, I used to live in Royal Oak, Michigan - a suburb of Detroit. (We

retired and moved down to sunny Florida.) There is a very active vegetarian

group in the Detroit area. I wasn't sure whether you knew about it:

Other resources in your area - Dr. Tom Barnard is a vegetarian physician. His

office is near Windsor. I remember some good Indian restaurants in the area and

one Asian place with hundreds of vegetarian choices on a street off of Tecumseh

(spelling??) near a big garden park, out in the direction of the mall.

 

 

 

You are also close enough to drive to the yearly Toronto Vegetarian Food Fair.
