I know, what a name. Nope ! I didn't do it, this already

had this name. It's sure delicious though.

 

Wild Mushroom Titi (Northern Greece)

 

1/2 lb. fresh mixed wild mushrooms, washed and cut in 1/2-inch pieces

3 tblspns, oilve oil

1/2 medium onion cut in thin slivers

1 tblspn. crushed garlic (more if you like)

1/3 cup white wine

1 tblspn, heavy cream

2 tbslpns. capers

1/4 tsp. black pepper

1/2 tsp. salt

2 tbslpns. fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 to 1 tblspn. fresh lemon juice (or use inside pulp of lemon)

 

Wok the mushrooms in olive oil over high heat.

When they brown and start to squeak, add garlic and onions, work for a 30

seconds.

Add wine, capers, cream, salt and pepper.

When sauce thickens heavily, remove from heat, add parsley and lemon juice.

Adjust flavors with more salt and pepper if needed.
